Thank you so much for your support!

We guarantee your tuber will be true to the cultivar ordered and have a visible eye. Please inspect your tubers as soon as you receive them and contact us within 7 days of your order arriving if you have any concerns. Once the 7 days have passed, you accept full responsibility for your tubers. Please understand we cannot be held responsible for damage due to bad weather, pests, growing conditions, negligence, or plant performance.

We only ship within the contiguous United States at this time. Tubers will begin shipping out in April as weather allows. You will receive a notification when your order ships.

All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail.

We are unable to combine shipping for multiple orders at this time.

Virus:

Bluebird Moon is a licensed nursery and inspected by the New York State Department of Agriculture. During the inspection any suspicious plants are tested and immediately discarded if found to carry a virus. We continue to monitor and cull any plants that show symptoms throughout the season.

We sanitize our snips between cutting and do not allow U-picks.

We do not resell imported tubers. All tubers sold by us are grown right here on our farm in the Catskill Mountains.

Unfortunately, virus in dahlias is incredibly common, with a large portion of them being asymptomatic. While we do our best to cull anything suspect, please keep in mind that we do not test every plant. Because of these factors, as well as numerous others, we cannot guarantee a tuber is virus free, but will continue to do our part to grow the healthiest plants. By purchasing our tubers you are confirming your understanding and acceptance that dahlias, like any other plant, can have disease.

For a more in-depth understanding of virus in dahlias you can view this document by the American Dahlia Society detailing some of their virus research results.
